Oh Sensi…Tapas heaven.

See, the trouble with Barcelona is that there really is just far too much good food. One minute I’m raving about the chorizo I had at so and so, the next I’m drooling over the fresh tomato salad and grilled octopus I had at blahdee blah. You end up sounding a bit ridiculous. Gushing all the time. Unsurprisingly, it’s a trend I’ll continue with right now.

I have already declared my favorite tapas place in all of Barcelona. That was a hard choice. Sensi Gourmet Tapas nearly took that spot, alas, it’s probably my second favorite in that glorious city. Here’s why. The tapas. The wines. The service. The atmosphere. The slightly glossy, red painted walls with adorable hand painted illustrations. The coziness. The snappy aprons worn by the waiters. Oh and that ridiculous fresh truffle ravioli. You’re gonna want one of those.

Like most spots in Barcelona, there are daily specials. You should try them and pair them with a juicy bottle of Rioja. Wear loose pants. Oh, and either make a reservation or get there early. I’m not the only one in love here.
