About Us

Another travel blog from not just another traveler.

If I had a nickel for every time a friend or colleague told me I should start a travel blog or share my sneaky city secrets, I’d have a nice slush fund for a few business class seats by now. But the nagging was never enough for me to get off my ass and actually put something together, because hell, who needs another travel guide? 3 days in Rome? Yeah, just go to blahblahnewspaper.com and get your itinerary there. Best croissants in Paris? Your co-worker mentioned that one pâtisserie a couple months ago. You get my drift. And yet, here I am, blathering on.

Thanks to some serious encouragement from friends and family who, for some ungodly reason, believe that I might have something worth offering, I bring to you Oh Please Just Go. Consider this my attempt to kick you in the pants and get you out there exploring, or at the very least, my best effort to lure you away from your boring desk job for a long weekend.

I’ve done all the work. You have no excuses. Let’s go!

xx

If you only knew the level of stress, dread, and suffocation I feel as my passport expiration date approaches, you would know just how deeply I like to travel. My friends think I’m nuts, but they’ve grown accustomed to my last minute three-day weekends in Spain or my inquiries if they’d care to join me on my next adventure (even though I just went away last month). I can’t help it. Having lived in NYC for over 20 years now, I’ve been afforded the opportunity to take advantage of some serious travel deals (from three airports nonetheless) and every trip I take keeps me on my toes and eager to see more.
